About Me

“Classic Meets Modern”

Mike Imbasciani is a dynamic blues-rock guitarist and vocalist from Port Charlotte, Florida, whose passion for music ignited at the age of five when he first picked up a guitar. By eleven, he was already performing professionally, and at fourteen, he formed his power trio, Mike Imbasciani & His BluezRockerz, blending classic blues, rock, and rockabilly into a sound that’s both timeless and refreshingly modern.

Influenced by legends like Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bob Dylan, and Muddy Waters, Mike’s electrifying performances and soulful guitar work have earned him a dedicated fanbase across Florida and beyond, including notable appearances in Nashville, Memphis, and Atlanta. His 2019 SWFL Blues Society Regional International Blues Challenge “People’s Choice Award” is a testament to his ability to captivate audiences with his raw talent and infectious energy. A true musical prodigy, Mike’s journey is marked by a deep commitment to the blues tradition while pushing the genre forward with his innovative style. His band’s high-energy shows, whether at intimate venues like The Twisted Fork in Port Charlotte or major festivals like the Sounds of Jazz & Blues Fest, showcase his versatility—seamlessly weaving intricate fingerpicking, searing solos, and heartfelt vocals.

Beyond his work with the BluezRockerz, Mike pays homage to his influences through projects like “Simply Clapton,” a tribute show celebrating Eric Clapton’s iconic catalog, and “Folk Legends,” which honors artists like Bob Dylan. His original compositions, such as “Letters In The Attic,” reflect his storytelling prowess, proving he’s not just a performer but a creative force in the modern blues scene.

Whether teaching aspiring musicians, recording new material, or performing for growing audiences, Mike Imbasciani remains a vibrant force, bridging the gap between blues heritage and contemporary innovation with every note he plays.
